Endorsement of Barack Obama for President in 2012.

After reviewing the Republican candidates for president, I have decided for myself that Barack Obama is the best candidate and I heartily encourage others to examine his record and behavior, think on the demands of the office, and I have great trust that for those of good sense and sound judgment Mr. Obama will be the candidate of choice.

Endorsement of the Pentel Rock n'Write pencil eraser

I endorse a product made by Pentel. It is the Rock n'Write pencil eraser.

This eraser is the shape of a writing tool, so it has the sense of a writing tool and compliments your writing functionality as a pad eraser does not, and this allows a more accurate erasing of the pencil mark, which meticulous draftsmanship will find a real advantage. It takes an eraser refill for the plastic barrel. As you use up the eraser you move a clip down a notch.

This is an excellent product that has changed my approach to writing and I heartily endorse it to all writers.

endorsement of SIR Management

The nursing home where I live has put in free WiFi. Therefore I am issuing an endorsement of the nursing home, Bryn Mawr Care.

Free WiFi here is consistent with other frequent improvements instituted by the nursing home, but because it more significantly impacts my chances of becoming financially independent (through my business of English Transformation Art conducted online) and leaving Bryn Mawr Care to live on my own, I feel confident that an endorsement is an accurate statement about my relationship with this facility.

iPoint product endorsement

I would like to endorse the iPoint pencil sharpener, made by Westcott. I have never owned an electric pencil sharpener before and I am very glad I have one now. I believe my artwork has been severely handicapped by the anguish caused by not being able to rely on a good point on my pencils at all times, without hasstle. I never bought one before because I felt I couldn't afford it. The iPoint was about ten dollars, a reasonable amount. It is run by batteries.

There are two features of this device I like. One is that the whole sharpening operation is visible, which gives me confidence in the reliability of the machine since I can see how things are going.

The other is that it is vertically loaded with the pencil--you push down on the pencil to turn it on. This eliminates the problem, whether actual or just perceived, of the sharpener moving out of your one-handed grip as you sharpen.

This is a fine device, attractively shaped, effectively engineered, and affordable, and I recommend it to any artist.

Endorsement of Chase Bank

I am pleased to endorse Chase Bank, with whom I have been banking for a couple of years or so. Their professional courtesy has been more than I could have imagined in my meager beginnings, and the reasons I am in meager later stages rather than prosperous ones have nothing to do with them. I feel as though the bankers at Chase are partners. Their advice is well considered. Their cordiality is matched only by their efficiency. A trip to the branch is reason to celebrate. It is with great assurance that I recommend Chase Bank to anyone of great or modest means.

My branch is the Bryn Mawr Avenue branch, in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Mastercard endorsement

I have had a Mastercard credit card now for over a year. It is my business credit card. I find it a valuable part of my business operation, perhaps the most valuable, other than my drawing talent. The concept of having a line of credit, so that I can be aggressive today beyond my cash assets, and pay for it tomorrow, is a very sensible way to do business, both for me and for the credit card company and the bank that pays my charges. The simplicity of the card over cash, which entails keeping track of very many individual objects of coins and notes, is a strategic business vehicle in itself. I am always more than glad to pay the interest each month, knowing how this expense gives me value in the way I live and do business.

VISA credit card endorsement

I have had a VISA credit card for over a year now. I would say it is responsible for a large part of my security today, in dollar terms. Without it, my health would be poorer because I would not have eaten as well. Though all my available cash goes to make the monthly minimum payments, I have calculated this part of my budget over the next year and it looks like i am in ship shape.I get three meals a day at my nursing home. These are on the order of 70% eatable. While this is a problem, it is not as big a problem as being homeless, which I was for eight years. So you can see why i say the VISA card has been good for me. it's not a grant. I have to pay it all back eventually, plus interest of course. But in my line of work, that is, being the first of the chicago mafia, every moment in the present, spent on pivotal details, means a whole lot more high functioning structure in my world than would exist otherwise, and thereby the means of paying for the present use of those funds will more than likely be ready at hand.

I also have a Mastercard for business.
